Early morning departure from Arusha for a late morning arrival in Tarangire National Park.

Spend the afternoon exploring Tarangire National Park
Tarangire National park is 2850 Square kilometres making it the sixth largest park in Tanzania and offering the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti. Tarangire is known for its large heards of Elephants which can be viewed at close range. Other animals likely to be seen throughout Tarangire are; wildebeest, zebra, buffalo, gazelle, rhino, warthog, impala, pythons, lions, leopards and over 50 species of birds.
Drive to Manyara. Overnight at Campsite just outside Manyara.
Safari Day 2
Hot breakfast at the campsite.
After breakfast head into Manyara National park for a mid morning and early afternoon game drive.
Lake Manyara National Park is approximately 330 Square Kilometres of which 200 sq Kilometres make up the lake itself when water levels are at a maximum. From a sea of Pink Flamingos as far as the eye can see to bull elephants at close range, Lake Manyara showcases a superb variety of herd animals and birdlife.
Drive to Ngorongoro Crater region. Camp just outside the Crater at the Simba Campsite.
Safari Day 3
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading into the Crater highlands and descending into the Crater.
The Ngorongoro Crater is a world heritage site, the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and is commonly referred to as the 8th wonder of the world. The walls of the crater stand 2,000 feet high while the floor spans across approximately 10 miles. Animal citing throughout the crater includes elephant, black rhino, hippo, buffalo, eland, zebra, wildebeest, hartebeest, waterbuck, warthog, Grant’s gazelle and Thomson’s gazelle, baboons, vervet monkeys, lion, cheetah, hyena, jackal and the occasional leopard.
Homeward bound for Arusha arrival in the late afternoon
